My name is Petra Kalcicova, and I am a visual abstract artist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I create contemporary abstract art using mixed media, with a special love for fluid art, texture, movement, and expressive colour. My work includes both original abstract paintings and digital abstract art, created to bring atmosphere, emotion, and imagination into everyday spaces.

Art is my way of translating feeling into form. I am inspired by healing, zen, mindfulness, self-care, and the quiet beauty of wabi-sabi — the appreciation of imperfection, transience, and authenticity. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and see something new. I want my art to awaken curiosity, spark fantasy, and create a personal connection that feels different for every viewer.

For me, painting is both meditation and energy. It is a quiet space where intuition, freedom, and emotion come together. Through layered colour, fluid movement, and abstract composition, I explore the balance between stillness and intensity, softness and strength.
